Special Meeting
June 4, 2007

1. The Special Meeting of the Saline Township Board was called to order by Supervisor James Marion on June 4, 2007 at 7:00pm at the Saline Town Hall, 5731 Braun Road, Saline, MI 48176.
   
   
2. Members present: Supervisor Marion, Clerk Baldus, Treasurer Gordon, Trustees Bohnett and R. Marion (arrived at 7:20 p.m.). Members from the Planning Commission included Richard Zahn, Laurie Leinbach, Robert Prehn, Neil Bohnett, and Trudy Feldkamp (arrived at 7:10 p.m.). Zoning Board of Appeals included Eugene Heusel, Judy Gordon and Richard Zahn. Two other citizens were present.
   
   
3. Mr. Bohnett led the Pledge of Allegiance.
   
   
4. Supervisor Marion briefly commented that this was not a public hearing but instead a discussion of the new proposed Zoning Ordinances.
   
   
5. Township Planner Rodney Nanney and Donald Pennington were present to lead the evening's discussion. Rodney started at Section 5. Discussion continued thru Section 18. Township Planners will make revisions and have a new set of revised Zoning Ordinances to hand out to all members. Plans for a public hearing still need to be scheduled and surrounding Townships and City of Saline need to also be notified of the public hearing.
